Florence – Events & Specialities Guide (and the Italian version “Stagione che vai, Firenze che trovi – Almanacco di Eventi & Specialità Fiorentine”) is focused on the reasons why it’s worth to explore the city in different seasons of the year through the voice of the Florentine producers and events organized in the city all year around. A guide to the events organised in a city like Florence, is basically a guide to the products which the land offers in each season. This book explains how this process keeps us all active for 365 days a year and how the unceasing efforts of craftsmen and other producers are focused on achieving excellence in all fields. The writer’s aim is to give the reader a series of pointers so that everyone can experience his or her own personal Florence city. Florence is not a dream, but a real place with real people who have worked their way out of history and into the 21st century. Dreams are personal and I never thought I could give you a present of a dream, but I can give you the information you need to make Florence a real place which you can explore, see and feel for yourselves.

The Guide is written in English and in Italian, in a pocket book format (11X16 cm), with a useful and retro graphic design  with boxes and frames, which helps the client in a concrete way to access the information about art & handicraft, food & wine, nature, sport & well-being, events and historical parades, top tips to live like a real Florentine.

Even the people who have contributed to the project are all Florentine producers or citizens because it is these people who are truly able to give genuine advice or suggestions being as they are true Florentines and passionate connoisseurs of the reality in which they live.

It is important to convey to you that this guide is not a list of tourist facilities/accommodation, but rather genuine suggestions that we believe to be of quality and unique. Each topic included is the fruit of our work and most careful research and not at the request of restaurants/ hotels, businesses, in this we believe that it offers the best service to the tourist by not serving as paid advertising to the structures mentioned.

At the end of March 2012 will be ready the same guidebook  (composed by 704 apges!!!) about Tuscany!
