It was in 1990 that the first Dark Chocolate Cake was born, in the Florentine restaurant where Claudio Pistocchi worked as Executive Chef.

We like chocolate like this, simple, with all its characteristic notes well present.

Conceptually simple, simply delicious.

A few years later it took on the name of TORTAPISTOCCHI®, to better diversify it from the first attempts at imitation.

The cake grew slowly, making its way into the world of artisan chocolate, until it became the phenomenon it is today.

Over the years, our Torta has received many international awards at the various competitions in which we participate, such as the Internationa Chocolate Awards, the Grat Taste Awards, Academy of Chocolate and from sector associations such as La Compagnia del Cioccolato, the WineHunter at the Merano Wine Festival and many others.

Tip by the producers

Excellent if accompanied with pears caramelized in a pan with red wine, a little sugar and spices, a dollop of whipped cream or an almond biscuit.

They are vacuum packed to keep them all their fragrance and goodness for months.

They must be kept at a controlled temperature (+ 2 / + 4 ° C) and left to dilute a little before consuming them to better appreciate the enveloping flavors of these wonderful cakes.
